The Regent is a royal strategist who wages war on two economies at once — Energy and Stardust. His kit centers on generating and spending Stars, building a passive Forge that culminates in the Sovereign Blade, and thinning his deck with utility cards to set up a late-game engine. Once his resources are balanced, the Regent is devastating. Getting to that balance is the challenge.
Playstyle
Regent decks live or die by resource balance — Star generation and Star spenders, draw and energy, all kept in proportion. The Star archetype is the most consistent and scales into high ascensions, powered by cards like Glow, Alignment and Solar Strike, with the Alignment + 2× Glow "infinity" engine as the late-game payoff. The Forge archetype builds the Sovereign Blade over multiple turns and rewards early relic finds like Bulwark or Serpent's Tooth. A third path — card generation with Spectrum Shift and Arsenal — currently functions best as utility for the Star engine rather than a standalone build.
