Event Flow
3 steps
The tea master acknowledges your request and begins. 1. Water from a charcoal-filled carafe is ladled into a kettle. 2. The kettle is heated using a gentle violet flame. 3. A scoop of tea goes into the kettle before it boils. 4. Off the heat, and a series of rhythmic claps track the time. 5. The kettle is hoisted high and precisely poured into a tiny cup. “Tea is served.”
You stumble into a dimly lit shack and find yourself immersed in a very peaceful space containing an obsessive variety of tea. The man inside gestures to a selection of teas, each neatly labeled with a premium price.

You politely decline the tea and— *SLAM* The door behind you slams shut. The tea master stares at you for a moment, then presents an ugly cup. Oh, this tea is for the discourteous...
Strategy Tip
Ember Tea (150 gold) is the best value — upgrading cards at combat start for 5 combats is huge. Bone Tea (50 gold, 1 combat) is decent if tight on gold. Tea of Discourtesy is free but shuffles Dazed into your draw pile, which is a real cost.
