Key Mechanic: Plow / Stun
The beast gains the Plow buff at the start of the fight. When its HP drops below 150, it becomes Stunned and loses all Strength. However, after recovering, it applies Ringing — limiting you to playing only 1 card for a turn.
Attack Pattern
Phase 1: Plow buff → repeated Charge attacks building Strength. At 150 HP: Stunned, loses all Strength. Phase 2: Applies Ringing, then continues attacking with rebuilt Strength.
Plow
Buffs itself with Plow on turn 1. Triggers the stun mechanic at 150 HP.
Charge
17 damageDeals 17 damage and buffs itself with 2 Strength.
Ringing
Applied after recovering from Stun. Restricts you to playing only one card next turn.
Trample
Increasing damage attack that grows with accumulated Strength.
How to Beat Ceremonial Beast
Chip the beast's HP to just above 150, then burst it down as far as possible in a single turn. This way, when you're hit with Ringing (1 card per turn), the beast is already low enough to finish off. Don't trigger the stun early with chip damage — plan the burst.
Bring the boss close to 150 HP without going under, then burst past it
Save your biggest damage for the turn after the stun
The Ringing turn is dangerous — make sure you have enough HP to survive one card's worth of Block
