Kin Priest

Act 1a · OvergrowthHard190 HP

A trio fight: the Kin Priest hides behind two Kin Followers, applying debuffs while its minions deal escalating damage.

Key Mechanic: Trio Fight

You face the Kin Priest and two Kin Followers simultaneously. The followers deal damage and buff their Strength, while the Priest applies Frail and Weak debuffs. Killing the Priest ends the fight — the followers disappear.

Attack Pattern

Priest cycles: Orb of Frailty → Orb of Weakness → Beam → Dark Ritual. Followers alternate between Quick Slash and Power Dance, staggered so at least one is always attacking.

Orb of Frailty

Priest debuffs you with Frail, reducing your Block gain.

Applies Frail (Block reduced by 25%)

Orb of Weakness

Priest debuffs you with Weak, reducing your attack damage.

Applies Weak (damage reduced by 25%)

Beam

15 damage

Priest attacks directly for ~15 damage.

Dark Ritual

Priest buffs its own Strength, increasing all future damage.

Priest gains Strength

Quick Slash (Follower)

10 damage

Follower attack dealing ~10 damage.

Power Dance (Follower)

Follower buffs itself with Strength.

Follower gains Strength

How to Beat Kin Priest

You have two viable approaches: (1) Kill the followers first to reduce incoming damage, then focus the Priest, or (2) rush the Priest directly — killing it ends the fight instantly. Option 2 is faster but riskier since you'll take unblocked follower damage. AoE damage is strong here since it hits all three targets.

Killing the Kin Priest ends the fight immediately — followers disappear

AoE attacks are very effective in this three-target fight

Followers are staggered — one attacks while the other buffs, so there's always incoming damage

Artifact or debuff removal helps counter the Frail/Weak cycle
