Key Mechanic: Beckon / Intangible Cycle
Soul Fysh places Beckon status cards into your draw and discard piles. If a Beckon is in your hand at end of turn, you take 6 unblockable damage. Every 4th and 5th turn, Soul Fysh gains Intangible, reducing all damage to 1 per hit.
Attack Pattern
Strict 5-turn cycle: Beckon (turn 1) → Lure (turn 2) → Nibble (turn 3) → Intangible (turn 4) → Vulnerable Bite + Intangible (turn 5), then repeats.
Beckon
Places Beckon cards in your draw pile and discard pile. Holding a Beckon at end of turn deals 6 unblockable damage.
Lure
15 damageAttack dealing ~15 damage.
Nibble
8 damageLight attack dealing ~8 damage and adding another status card.
Intangible
All damage received is reduced to 1 per hit for the turn.
Vulnerable Bite
10 damageDeals ~10 damage and applies 3 stacks of Vulnerable while still Intangible.
How to Beat Soul Fysh
Learn the 5-turn rhythm. Dump all your damage on turns 1-3 when Soul Fysh is vulnerable. On turns 4-5 (Intangible), focus on defense and discarding Beckon cards instead of wasting attacks. Discard effects and small deck size help manage the Beckon cards. Multi-hit attacks are useless during Intangible — save them for the vulnerable window.
Never hold a Beckon card at end of turn — it deals 6 unblockable damage
Discard effects help dump Beckons without wasting your whole turn
Don't waste big attacks during Intangible turns (4-5) — save them for turns 1-3
A smaller, leaner deck draws Beckons more predictably
