Key Mechanic: Door / Doormaker Phase Cycle
The fight alternates between the Door (155 HP barrier) and the Doormaker (489 HP total). Break the Door to reveal the Doormaker, who is Stunned for one turn, then attacks, then transforms back into the Door. Each cycle, the Doormaker gains Strength.
Attack Pattern
Door (155 HP) → Break → Doormaker Stunned (1 turn) → Doormaker Attack → Big Swing + Strength → transforms back to Door. Repeats with increasing Strength.
Door Phase
A door with 155 HP blocks your access to the Doormaker. Break it to proceed.
Stunned
After the Door breaks, the Doormaker is stunned for one turn — free damage window.
Doormaker Attack
25 damageThe Doormaker attacks for heavy damage.
Big Swing + Strength
35 damageHeavy attack, gains Strength, then transforms back into the Door.
How to Beat Doormaker
Burst through each Door phase as quickly as possible to maximize your damage during the Stun window. The Doormaker's Strength stacks each cycle, so you want as few cycles as possible. Save your biggest damage for the Stun turn — it's your main window. Block heavily on the attack turns. Consistent sustained damage is better than slow setup here.
The Stun turn after breaking the Door is your best damage window — use it
Each cycle adds Strength, so the fight gets harder the longer it goes
You need ~644 total damage (155 Door + 489 Doormaker) — plan accordingly
Save heavy Block for the Big Swing turn before the Door reforms
