Summon Swarm

Overwhelm enemies with summoned spirits and minions. Each summon fights alongside you, creating a numbers advantage that compounds every turn.

How It Plays

Summon Swarm is the Necrobinder's most intuitive archetype. Cards like Afterlife and Summon Spirit put allies on the board that attack and block independently. The more minions you have, the more total damage and block you generate per turn without spending cards. Amplify Death and Echoing Wail buff your summons or trigger effects when they die. The strategy is simple: summon early, summon often, and let your army overwhelm the enemy through sheer numbers.

Act-by-Act Strategy

1

Act 1

Afterlife is your foundation — it provides Block AND a summon. Summon Spirit is a pure summon card. Prioritize getting 2-3 summon sources to establish board presence in every fight.

2

Act 2

Look for summon payoff cards like Amplify Death and Echoing Wail. These make your summons more impactful. Spectral Form provides a power that enhances your summoning strategy. Start building toward a critical mass of summons.

3

Act 3

With multiple summon sources and payoffs, your board presence is overwhelming. Each summon contributes damage and sometimes Block. Focus on keeping yourself alive while your army does the work. Dark Offering can sacrifice summons for powerful effects.

Boss Matchups

Strong Against

Lagavulin MatriarchSoul FyshDoormaker

Weak Against

Kaiser CrabKnowledge Demon

Summon Swarm excels in longer fights where you can build up your board. Against AoE bosses that clear minions, re-summon aggressively. Prioritize getting summons out early each fight — even a single spirit ally provides extra value every turn.
