Curse Control
Use Curses as fuel rather than a hindrance. Cards that benefit from Curses in your deck turn the Necrobinder's dark theme into a powerful advantage.
How It Plays
Most characters dread Curses clogging their deck. The Necrobinder turns them into a resource. Cards like Pestilence and Wraith Form gain power from Curses in your deck or hand. Shadow Form and Ethereal Form provide benefits tied to the dark cards you carry. The strategy is counterintuitive: accept Curses from events, seek them out, and let your Curse-synergy cards convert them into damage, Block, or other advantages. The more Curses you carry, the stronger your payoff cards become.

Act-by-Act Strategy
Act 1
Don't go all-in on Curse synergy yet. Pick up Pestilence and Wraith Form if offered, but focus on having a functional deck first. Accept Curses from events when the reward is worth it.
Act 2
This is where Curse synergy cards start appearing. Shadow Form and Ethereal Form provide scaling based on your deck composition. Start accepting more Curses — each one makes your synergy cards stronger.
Act 3
With multiple Curse payoffs and several Curses in your deck, the archetype delivers. Wraith Form becomes incredibly powerful. Haunting Wails debuffs enemies based on your dark cards. The more corrupted your deck, the stronger you become.
Boss Matchups
Strong Against
Weak Against
Curse Control is the most difficult Necrobinder archetype to pilot. Balance is key — too few Curses and your payoffs are weak, too many and you can't draw useful cards. Blue Candle lets you exhaust Curses for 1 HP, giving you control. Du-Vu Doll grants Strength per Curse, stacking with your theme.
