Sacrifice Engine
Sacrifice HP, summons, and resources for devastating payoffs. Trade short-term safety for long-term power in this high-risk, high-reward archetype.
How It Plays
The Sacrifice Engine leans into the Necrobinder's dark theme — everything has a cost, and you pay willingly. Consuming Shadow deals damage by sacrificing your own HP. Rupture and similar cards trigger effects whenever you lose HP, turning self-damage into free Strength or other buffs. Dark Offering sacrifices summons for energy and card draw. The archetype rewards careful resource management: spend HP and summons at the right moments to create power spikes that end fights before the cost catches up to you.

Act-by-Act Strategy
Act 1
Consuming Shadow is your early damage dealer. Rupture turns every HP loss into permanent Strength. Combine the two for a self-fueling damage engine. Keep an eye on your HP — you need enough to keep sacrificing.
Act 2
Dark Offering lets you sacrifice summons for energy and draws, creating explosive turns. Void Strike provides heavy damage as a payoff for your aggressive resource spending. Add sustain through healing relics or Reaper-style cards.
Act 3
The Sacrifice Engine is at full power. Each self-damage card triggers Rupture for Strength, which makes your attacks hit harder, which ends fights faster. Dark Offering fuels massive turns. Manage HP carefully — you're trading health for speed.
Boss Matchups
Strong Against
Weak Against
Sacrifice builds are glass cannon by nature. Against bosses with consistent damage, you need to kill fast before HP loss catches up. Rest at campfires more often. Healing relics are premium — grab every Burning Blood, Meat on the Bone, or healing potion you can.
