How It Plays
Stance Dance is about fluidity — entering Wrath for double damage, exiting into Calm for energy, then re-entering Wrath to hit again. Cards that trigger on Stance change reward rapid switching. The key insight is that Calm generates 2 energy when you leave it, which funds your Wrath attacks. A good Stance Dance turn looks like: enter Calm (or start in Calm) → exit Calm for +2 energy → enter Wrath → play boosted attacks → exit Wrath into Calm before the enemy attacks. Constellation and Gravity Well reward frequent Stance changes.

Act-by-Act Strategy
Act 1
Pick up Stance-entering cards early. Force Wave and Lunar Tide provide stance transitions alongside useful effects. Learn the Calm → Wrath → Calm rhythm. Gravity Well rewards frequent switching.
Act 2
Constellation is the archetype's centerpiece — it triggers effects on every Stance change. Eclipse provides a safe Stance exit when needed. Look for cards that enter AND exit Stances efficiently to maximize transitions per turn.
Act 3
With Constellation online and multiple Stance-switching cards, each turn generates bonus damage and energy from the transitions themselves. The build is fluid and adaptive — enter Wrath for offense, Calm for energy, and chain them for maximum value.
Boss Matchups
Strong Against
Weak Against
Stance Dance rewards memorizing boss attack patterns. Enter Wrath on turns where you want to kill, exit into Calm on turns before big attacks. Never end your turn in Wrath against a heavy-hitting boss unless you can survive the doubled damage. Calm's energy generation funds bigger turns.
