How It Plays

Wrath Burst is the Regent's most straightforward archetype — enter Wrath for double damage, play your best attacks, and exit before the enemy hits back. The key is timing: you want to enter Wrath on turns where you have strong attacks ready and can exit before damage comes. Comet, Meteor Strike, and Inferno deal massive base damage that doubles in Wrath. Stellar Forge and Supernova provide big attacks for Wrath turns. The build rewards reading enemy intent and timing your Wrath entries to kill or nearly kill before the retaliation.

Act-by-Act Strategy

1

Act 1

Comet is your bread and butter — high base damage that doubles in Wrath. Pick up any Wrath-entering cards. Learn which enemies you can one-shot with a Wrath turn. Force Wave provides a Wrath entry alongside damage.

2

Act 2

Meteor Strike and Inferno are your heavy hitters. With Wrath doubling their already-high damage, these cards obliterate most enemies. Add a reliable Wrath exit (Calm-entering card or Eclipse) to avoid taking doubled damage.

3

Act 3

Your game plan is clean: enter Wrath → play Meteor Strike or Inferno → exit Wrath. Against bosses, time Wrath for turns where you want maximum damage. Supernova is your AoE option for multi-enemy fights.

Weak Against

Knowledge DemonDoormaker

Wrath Burst is about timing, not sustain. Enter Wrath when you can deal lethal or near-lethal damage, then exit immediately. Against bosses with vulnerable phases (like Ceremonial Beast's stun), save your Wrath turn for that window. Never enter Wrath without a way out if the enemy is attacking.
