Poison Rush

Apply and amplify Poison to melt enemies over time. Stack it high, double it with Catalyst, and watch the damage tick up every turn.

Synergy Chain

How the core cards connect
1
Deadly Poison:Apply 5 Poison.
2
Bouncing Flask:Apply 3 Poison to a random enemy 3 times.
3
Poisoned Stab:Deal 6 damage. Apply 3 Poison.
4
Footwork:Gain 2 Dexterity.

How It Plays

Poison is the Silent's signature scaling mechanic. Each stack deals damage at the start of the enemy's turn and decreases by 1, making it a race to stack faster than it decays. Deadly Poison and Bouncing Flask apply the stacks, while Catalyst doubles or triples them for explosive scaling. The beauty of Poison is that it's entirely passive — once stacks are applied, you can focus entirely on blocking. This makes it one of the safest and most consistent archetypes in the game.

Act-by-Act Strategy

1

Act 1

Deadly Poison and Poisoned Stab are your early Poison sources. Prioritize picking up at least 2-3 Poison applicators. Neutralize helps with early damage. Footwork shores up your defense.

2

Act 2

Catalyst is the archetype-defining card — it doubles your Poison stacks. Finding even one copy transforms your scaling. Bouncing Flask hits multiple enemies with Poison. Add defensive cards like Leg Sweep to survive while Poison does its work.

3

Act 3

With Catalyst and multiple Poison sources, your damage scales automatically. Focus on defense — Footwork + block cards keep you alive while Poison melts bosses. Against multi-enemy fights, Bouncing Flask and AoE are key.

Weak Against

Poison excels in long fights where stacks accumulate. Against bosses with high HP, Catalyst is your win condition. Be careful of enemies that cleanse debuffs. Prioritize applying Poison early, then shift to pure defense while it ticks.

Strengths & Weaknesses

Strengths

  • +Completely passive damage — block while Poison kills
  • +Catalyst provides exponential scaling
  • +Works against high-HP bosses that other builds struggle with
  • +Flexible — can mix Poison with other Silent tools

Weaknesses

  • -Slow against multi-enemy fights without AoE Poison
  • -Useless against Poison-immune enemies (if any)
  • -Needs time to stack — vulnerable to burst damage early
  • -Catalyst without Poison stacks is a dead card
